FAQ
Can Chinese be converted to Morse code?
Standard Morse code only defines English letters, digits and a few punctuation marks — there is no Chinese. Convert Chinese to pinyin with the Chinese-to-Pinyin tool first, then encode the pinyin into Morse code.
How are words separated?
When encoding, letters are separated by a space and words by /; when decoding, spaces split letters and / or multiple consecutive spaces split words, automatically restoring the original text.
Which punctuation marks are supported?
Period, comma, question mark, exclamation, slash, parentheses, &, colon, semicolon, equals, plus, minus, underscore, double quote, $ and @ are all supported.
