FAQ
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Both the cutout and the AI model run locally in your browser — the image never leaves your device and is gone when you close the tab.
Which images work best?
Logos and products on a solid background give the sharpest edges. Portrait photos get a clean outline but hair edges are softer — fine for quick graphics, stickers and memes.
Hair edges are not fine enough. What can I do?
This tool is free, fast and upload-free. For hair-level precision (e.g. ID photos), use the AI refinement in the ID Photo tool on this site.
Can I use person mode on non-portrait images?
Not recommended — the segmentation model only recognises people. For pets and products use the solid-colour mode or the auto mode's flood-fill branch.
How do I fix white edges or leftovers?
Increase "Shrink" by 1–3 to pull the edge inward; add a little "Feather" for soft white halos. Adjustments apply in real time.
